As of September 2025, Turvac d.o.o. has formally left the parental embrace of its founding company, Turna, and embarked on a new chapter within the Recticel Group — a development that Turna proudly supports as another significant milestone in the company’s long-term growth. With this transition, Turvac has completed its full journey; beginning as a Turna start-up, evolving into a joint venture, and ultimately becoming a fully owned company of the Recticel Group.
Turna’s journey with vacuum insulation began more than 17 years ago, when we launched our first development activities in the field of Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP). Nearly 10 years ago, Turna strategically carved out this program and established Turvac d.o.o. as an independent company — a move driven by our strong belief in the technology’s long-term potential and the value of focused development.
Turna’s cooperation with Turvac and Recticel began in 2017, when Recticel, a Belgium-based leader in high-performance insulation materials, joined Turvac’s ownership structure alongside Turna, laying the foundation for a strong and future-oriented alliance.
The transition to full Recticel ownership reflects the shared vision that Turna has supported from the beginning: strengthening Turvac’s role as an important innovator in VIP technology and enabling further expansion in construction and temperature-controlled packaging markets.
Turna is confident that this integration will bring new opportunities for Turvac, reinforcing its capabilities in delivering top-quality products, operational flexibility, and sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions. We are proud of Turvac’s development — initiated by our ideas and commitment many years ago — and we look forward to seeing the company continue its growth trajectory as part of the Recticel Group.
We wish the entire Turvac team every success on this next chapter of their journey within the Recticel family.
